Great shave; I love Wednesdays. I have adopted I think at least one tradition so far I will stick with. I really like the Mitchell’s wool fat Wednesdays thing. I am very blessed I can get a wonderful lather from this soap, as I hear on so many forums horror stories about sub-par lathers and frustrations. I used my Omega black badger which is one of the softest brushes I have ever used I would put it up there with my silvertip easily. A few months back I had Matt Pisarcik from the New Razor Emporium Revamp my 1961 Gillette Fat Boy and damn if this razor doesn’t deliver the goods ! He did a wonderful job and re worked the mechanics, re-plated the razor and made the razor look like it just came off the assembly line. There is a definite art to that profession. The MWF was rich, creamy, and plentiful more than enough to do at least four passes maybe more. I used for the last time on the 3rd use the Derby extra, for a value blade it is pretty solid for the price but dulls on my face pretty quick. I bought 100 blades so I use them every now and again. 3 passes later smooth as can be. Finished it of with some witch hazel and The Body shops Arber after shave balm; wonderful scent ! I hope all your shaves and days went as great as mine. – Aaron
